Cave to Creatures
Throughout history, humans have shared a vital and symbiotic relationship with animals. From the earliest cave paintings, where animals were depicted as symbols of survival, to the roles animals play in our lives today, the bond between humans and animals has been central to our evolution and survival. Cave to Creatures explores this deep-rooted connection, tracing humanity’s dependence on, reverence for, and coexistence with animals through time.
Artists reflect on the ways in which animals have shaped and continue to shape our lives. Works explore themes ranging from survival, communication, symbiosis, home, culture, and the environmental and ethical challenges faced in our relationship with the natural world.
